Losing weight is all about the correct calculation and the calculation is very simple because in order to lose weight, you must create a deficit on calories intake versus the ability of your body to burn them off. In another words, you must burn more calories than you eat in order to create calories deficit.

If you want to lose 5 pounds, all you need to do is to create a calories deficit of 17,350 calories because 1 pound of fat is equivalent to 3,500 calories. If you plan to lose 5 pounds a week then you need to shed about 2,500 calories a day in order to lose 5 pounds a week. This calculation is very simple and to achieve a reasonable weight loss is not difficult at all.

First, look at the food that you eat and let’s say you consume 3 x 330ml cokes and 2 small fries (85g) a day. Cokes contain 140 calories each so 3 x 140 = 420 calories and fries contain 271 calories so 2 x 271 = 542 calories. Total calories consumes is equal to 962 calories. If you replace the cokes with water and the fries celery stick, you will save 962 calories automatically. Isn’t this great? If you would like to burn off more calories, take up exercise program and this will further burn more calories.

As you can see the logic of the weight loss theory is not that difficult, why not start eating healthily and live a healthy life and get the body of your dream without having to pick up any Diet Plans.
